Budget and checklist
The budget can be saved to this browser when you select Save. Checklist ticks are saved automatically. Holiday plans, traveller nicknames, quotes, itinerary entries, payment records and booking references are also saved automatically in local storage. This information is stored locally and is not sent to a HappyCruiser database. Saved information is separate for each browser and website address. Use Export backup and Import backup to move holiday plans between them. Exported JSON backups contain all entered trip information and should be kept private. Import adds copies and does not replace existing trips. Calendar exports contain your entered itinerary details and local times. No payment card or passport details should be entered. Use the reset or holiday deletion controls, or clear site data, to remove it. Deleting a planning record does not cancel a provider booking. Other people using the same browser may be able to see saved information.
Accounts and forms
This website has no newsletter signup or contact submission form.
Hosting and external providers
The hosting platform may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site. Following an external or affiliate link takes you to another provider, which may use cookies or tracking under its own privacy policy.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics loads on public pages only after you choose Allow analytics. It helps us understand page visits and basic browser, device and session information. Google uses analytics cookies for this measurement. Advertising features are disabled. If you reject analytics, the Google tag does not load. My holiday and error pages never load Google Analytics, regardless of your choice.
We send fixed page titles and canonical page addresses without query strings or fragments. We do not send saved holiday plans, traveller details, booking references, payment records, budget values, checklist contents or form entries to analytics. Automatic form, outbound-link, search and download tracking is disabled.
Your privacy choice is stored in this browser. We ask again after 180 days if you previously allowed analytics; rejection remains in place until you change it or clear site data. Use Privacy choices in the footer to allow or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting after allowing stops collection, removes this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not remove data already processed by Google. If this browser cannot save your choice, analytics stays off. See Google’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
